O Gauge Kits
GWR Armstrong 4-4-0 with 3000 gallon tender
An extremely beautiful loco, admired and desired by many as both a display
and a fully working model.
Perpetuating our policy of high quality kits, we have worked very hard to do it full justice and bring out
all the features of this early locomotive. This specification includes beam compensated loco drivers and tender.
Etchings are, as usual,
in Nickel Silver and brass and all castings are lost wax.
The kit is specifically designed with features to assist with painting
and lining the splendid livery as it does have many highly polished parts.
The kit is intended to reproduce the earlier flush riveted
version but parts are included to represent one version of snap riveted example(Gooch).
Internal rotating valve gear and crank are included
in the kit.

The prototype presents many intriguing aspects and we hope we have produced a very interesting kit
to build.
The specification is to our usual high standard with all nickel silver etchings and lost wax brass and nickel
silver castings.
Much attention has been paid to the difficult problems the prototype presents and in dealing with highly
visible piping, we have included design methods to assist. A high percentage of pipe fittings are included to reproduce the look and
feel of the original.
Fully beam compensated chassis and tender for smooth running and electrical pickup for DCC. Both chimney types
are included together with full cab fittings.
